We have five new Music Boosters Scholarship winners! Hearty congratulation to these outstanding musicians, who were announced May 10 at the 2012 Senior Awards Program: The Jamie Fair Memorial Scholarship of $1500 is awarded to Alex Dolezal. The Shawna Marie Strunk Memorial Scholarship of $1000 is awarded to Brandon Huber. The Marvin Hill Memorial Scholarship of $500 is awarded to Griffin Hodges. The Edward P. Lenney Memorial Scholarship of $500 is awarded to Kerstin Nilsson. The Mitchell Schnure Scholarship of $500 is awarded to Ryan Fisher. Best of luck to these fine students in their upcoming college careers! Music in the Parks Fundraiser: Loveland provides the facilities and staff for this program, which partners schools and nearby amusement parks to provide an adjudicated musical experience combined with a day of fun at the park! Loveland and Kings Island are a destination for the weekends of April 28 - May 26. Here's more info about the event and the jobs for parents to do to help. The first job for our Officers-elect will be a renewal of Music Boosters By-laws, including a review of currently unfilled Officer positions, so additional elections or appointments may be upcoming. Although much of this document has become outdated, key Officer roles are fairly accurate, so do open the By-laws on the Files tab if you are interested in learning more or in participating in the renewal process!
The Loveland Music Boosters' mission is to support music students in Loveland Schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. We are entirely dependent on the financial support and volunteer efforts of our members - parents, students and music lovers in the community like you. Visit our About the Boosters tab for some interesting organizational background.
We need your support to do our work! To become a member, simply use our online Membership process or download a Membership Form from the Forms folder in the Files tab to print out and return by mail.
