Carving Caricature Faces - Saturday, October 24, 2009, 9:00 - 5:00. Instructor: Paul Price
Follow specific steps to create fun faces in wood. Each step will be described on handouts and demonstrated by the instructor. 
Topics include: Noses, Mouths, Eyes, Ears, Head Shapes, and Hair. 
Handouts will include Diagrams & Photos. 
Several examples will be available to study. Suitable for all levels of carvers. 
A $5 supply fee and is payable to the instructor for basswood & printing. 
Additional supply/tool list will be available at registration. Min. 6/Max. 8 (Ages 16+)
Location: Chilson Center, Loveland CO. Bring a bag lunch or visit a local food establishment for lunch.

Join the Loveland Carving Club monthly meeting on Tuesday evening, October 20, 6:00pm for a review of tool sharpening and safety.

Classes for 2009

Club Sponsored Classes
The club carved with Stu Martin on March 20-22, 2009. The projects were primarily western/mountain men/Indian busts. It was an excellent class.

The club hosted Phil & Vicki Bishop once again at The Ranch (Larimer county Fairgrounds). As always, students were delighted with their caricature carvings. Phil & Vicki will not be traveling much in the coming years, concentrating their efforts at their own studio. We'll miss them.
