Dear Students and Parents,

Be sure to check out what's happening this week by clicking on the NEW! Weekly Class Update page. You'll find test dates, annoucements, current resources, and tips for the week of Sept. 8-12. As soon as I work out the kinks on your ability to activate my blog for class updates, I'll be sure to let you know, parents. In the meantime, please refer to weekly updates here on this website.

As I mentioned last week, I'm so excited that a brand new year has begun. Students, get ready to learn, explore, and have fun. I hope that this will be your best year yet! Fourth grade is a time to discover new things about yourselves, about your friends, and about the world around you. Remember that school is not the only place to learn ... Everywhere you go, there are things to learn! Watch and learn from the people around you; learn from nature ... by using all of your senses! We will be using all of our senses -- eyes, ears, touch, smell, feelings -- in this class, and I can't wait to get started. So, Gazelles, hold on, because you are in for a brand new journey ... and soon you will say, "Hey, this is the place to be! Room 25!"
