This site'll help us keep track of the progress of the Krewe. 

also, the "theme" is "let the games begin" or something 

our dance squad could be called the "brew hahas" -- playon words? should that be our krewe name? What's a krewe name that'd appeal to "downtown" people as opposed to uptown people? 

Here's what we need to gather: 

- money to enter (entries due by end of november)

    - a walking krewe is  $150+$350 deposit fee (?!) = $500, whoa

    - parade entering = notsomuch for the smaller groups, so let's just dress alike and do a dance.

- brass band/wheelbarrow with a boombox

- people/dancing girls

- pom poms and costumes

- rehearsal space

- a charity to donate to 

Should we:

- have a myspace, ning profile, blog (these would all be boring 10 months out of the year.)

Here are some of the steps to follow if you would like to form a Krewe:.

1. The deadline for returning Krewes to apply is the end of August. New Krewes may apply from early September to the end of December. Applications received after the end of December will be given individual consideration.

Check the website for the date of the mandatory meeting and don’t miss it!
