The Spanish and Portuguese Jews' Congregation of London - "Kahal Kadosh Shaar Hashamayim" - was established in 1656 and is the oldest Jewish community in the British Isles.
This double site is devoted to the Kahal's rich musical tradition, and consists of two separate constituent sites: The Revd. Halfon Benarroch Archive A site containing almost the entire cantorial repertoire of the congregation; those parts of the service led by the reader or Hazzan.
