Lunch On A Leash Association (LOLA) has been producing a "dining with your dog" event since 2006. The events have provided patrons with an opportunity to take their four-legged best friends to an outdoor lunch with delicious catered food for the human & canine patron.  The lunch is intended to be a celebration of the human/canine bond while raising money for animal welfare.  

2009

All proceeds from the 2009 event were combined with private donations to offer grants to Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary & Golden Bone Rescue & Rehab.

The 2009 agenda included a Doggy Fashion Show during lunch, followed by a canine educational/behavior clinic by Nadia Caillou.   Maia Kincaid, animal communicator & local author, shared her experiences & offered guidance to enhance patrons' own listening skills. The 'Blur of Fur' radar racecourse was presented by the Greyhounds of the Verde Valley.

Dog In Art took many candid shots during the event & had prints available for patrons on the spot.  Prints from the 2009 event are available by visiting the Dog In Art website (linked above).

The SILENT AUCTION was wonderful & added over $2000 to the coffers.
