Welcome to the Lockleys Riding Club, a horse agistment community in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia.

Based on the banks of Breakout Creek, the last 3 kilometres of the River Torrens before it spills out to the sea.

This area is highly valued by all who use the area, the passing cyclists, runners, walkers, and families who come from all over Adelaide just to feed a horse a carrot. As well as the horse owners and riders of course!

This website is designed to give you more information about these magnificent horses, their history on Breakout Creek, about the Lockleys Riding Club, and current events.

The symbol of wide open spaces and freedom, synonymous with nature in a mechanised world,

the horse arouses great passion and feeds our imaginations.
