Sample CSK Menu

Here are two sample CSK Menu. Each week we send out a new menu featuring seasonal food. We select dishes from our main menu and add new specials each week.

CSK MENU FOR OCTOBER 8TH

Soups

Potato Leek Soup

The classic combo of creamy potatoes and zesty leeks.
$3.50 per 8oz serving, Vegan and can be frozen


Sides

Ruby's Mac and Cheese

A family recipe passed down from my grandma Ruby Washington!  Enjoy a lavish side of  Mac & Cheese made with local cheddar and pepper jack cheeses topped with a blanket of sautéed veggies.
$5  Vegetarian

Southern Style Greens with bacon

Fresh harvest greens simmered in a sweet & hot pepper sauce and bacaon. $5

Salads

Bean Salad

Local beans, carrots, corn, peppers, cauliflower drizzled with Basil Vinaigrette. $4.50

Entrees

Pot Pie 5" served in foil tin

Choose from a chicken or tempeh & veggie pot pie. Complete with chicken or vegan gravy & a medley of local vegetables. $9

Pot Pie, bean salad & slice of pumpkin pie $13

Desserts

Apple Muffins

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.   Enjoy your medicine in muffin form.  Made with love from local apples, honey, butter and flour.
$3 per muffin    $12 per half dozen

Pumpkin Pie 8"

The traditional fall pie, produced by the Cultivating Community Youth Growers. $3 per slice     $10 per pie

Carrot Ginger
Local carrots cooked to bliss with a sharp ginger flavor

$3.50 per 8oz serving, Vegan and can be frozen

For the Pantry
Garden Harvest Pickles
Pickled Carrots, Cauliflower, Beans, Cucumbers and more.  Makes a great side dish in the middle of winter
Canned and ready to store for the winter $5 for 16oz jar

Sides
Roasted Tomatoes with Garlic and Cheddar Cheese
A whole roasted tomatoe drizzled with olive oil, fresh herbs with a whole clove of roasted garlic topped with Sonnetal Dairy Buggy Whip Cheddar Cheese
$4 per tomato, $12 for 4 Vegetarian, or can be made Vegan

Homemade Yogurt with Blueberries or Plain
Our own probiotic yogurt made using local natural Smiling Hill Farm milk, either plain or with wild Maine blueberries and a touch of honey.
$4 for a plain quart, $4.50 for blueberry quart

Salads
Roasted Squash over Kale with Pumpkin Seeds & Wheatberries
a fall treat with a sweet maple garlic dressing
$4 for adult serving, Vegan or Vegetaira
