Early Days

 Founded in 17th of May 1934. In 1934 it cost 1 shilling for men {5p} and one sixpence for women {2.5p}. The team earned £38 a week for the whole team. Posh played in the old midlands league. They came into the English football league in 1960-1961 season. 50 years ago.  

In there first match they beat Gainsborough Trinity 4-0. The first goal scored by the Posh was scored by Len Hargreaves.

How Peterborough united joined 

How Peterborough joined was where, Fletton and Peterborough were not the best of teams and because of this Fletton went bust. So they combined together to make... the almighty Posh!
