Setting up your timeclock

1. Setup all your staff in you POS system
You will need to make sure all your staff are entered into your POS system. You will probably already have all your bar and floor staff entered into your system, however you may not have other staff that don't use the tills such as Kitchen and Cleaning staff. You will need to make sure all these people are entered into your POS system for them to be able to clock in and out so Loaded can track their time. Please refer to your POS documentation for more details on how to setup new staff.


2. Download the Loaded Timeclock application
Once you have all your staff entered you then need to download the Loaded Timeclock application. You can download this by clicking on this link. You should save it to somewhere on your computer you can easily access (like you desktop).


3. Install and configure the Loaded Timeclock application
When the download is completed you need to run the Timeclock for the first time and go through the configuration wizard. Just double click on the Loaded Timeclock icon which you have just downloade. A box will pop-up prompting you to enter your username and password. Here you need to enter the username and password you signed up to Loaded with. If you have created or own a sub-user account you will not be able to use this. If have difficulty finding the correct credentials please contact Loaded support.


6. Clocking in and out
You are now ready to start clocking in and out. To do this find your name in the list on the left hand side of the timeclock and click on it. Once your name is highlighted you can click the 'Clock In' button to clock you in, and the 'Clock Out' button to clock you out. Pretty easy. The timeclock will then connect to Loaded and send it your clockin details for you track online in the 'Time' section of Loaded Reports.

5. Add paycodes to each of your staff (only if you are planning to export to MYOB)

If you are using MYOB you can also export your timeclock details directly in MYOB payroll. To do this you will first need to add the correct payroll code to each staff member in Loaded so MYOB payroll knows who is who. You should log into Loaded and click on the Time tab and navigate to Staff. This will bring up a list of all your active staff members. Just click on the 'Pay Code' field and you will be able to edit that with your MYOB field. Once you have done this for all your staff you can export the payroll information from the 'Punches by Staff' report.

Your now ready to start using the Loaded Timeclock!
