Setting up courses in Wizbang

You can set up courses in Wizbang so you are able to track which courses are selling well, and which ones you can improve on. This can also be broken down into each salesperson so you can see who is selling what.
 
Setting up courses is really straightforward, there are two main steps which need to be completed in Wizbang:
 
1. Setting up the courses
2. Assigning a course to each item
 
Setting up the courses
1. Open Wizbang Waiter
 
2. Navigate to Admin - Items - Courses. This will take you to a list of all the courses currently setup. From here you can add, edit or delete any of the courses.
- To add a course click New - and enter a name
- To edit, select the course you want to edit and click Edit - and edit the name of the course
- To delete, select the course you want to delete and click Delete
 
3. Setup your main courses
You should also select which course is the main course so Loaded can enhance your reporting further. To do this select which course or courses are main courses, and hit Edit - then click the Is Main check box
 
Assigning a course to each item
1. Open Wizbang Waiter
 
2. Navigate to Admin - Items - Items - Select the Item Group you want to edit. This will take you to a list of all items within each item group
 
3. Select the item you want to add a coures to and hit Edit.
 
4. Click the checkbox next to Course and a drop down menu will appear with all the courses you have setup
 
5. Select a course from the dropdown menu and click OK.
 
 
Thats it!! Once you have assigned a course to each item you will now be able to view you sales broken down into each course.
 
Note: The assigned course becomes the default course for each item. This can also be overriden when placing an order by using the course button on the tills or on your PODs. This may be useful when a customer wants to order a starter as a mains for example.
