Headed by Pr. Pascal Gantet (UM2, IRD) and Pr. Do Nang Vinh (AGI), the International Joint Laboratory LMI RICE is hosted since January 2011 in the Agronomical Genetics Institute (AGI) of Hanoi in Vietnam. The  LMI RICE results of an association between different Vietnamese (AGI, National Key Laboratory of Plant Cell Biotechnology, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Science, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi) and French (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement, Université Montpellier 2) research institutions and Universities to conduct together challenging and hot research projects and training actions on rice functional genomics and plant biotechnology.
