To get help or support with breastfeeding or mothering your breastfed baby, or if you want to know more about coming to a meeting you can call our accredited Leaders who all give their time voluntarily.
Sometimes a Leader will be out or busy with family activities and not able to take a call. Please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can, usually the same day.

Ever wondered what Leaders do between meetings?
Here are things we do - though we share some of them between us:
- Meet together and plan future meetings
- Work with Leader Applicants - mothers who are preparing to become Leaders
- Manage and update the group's library of books and leaflets
- Answer calls on LLLGB's telephone Helpline
- Answer calls and queries from local mothers
- Manage the group's accounts and deal with membership subscriptions
- Answer Helpforms - requests for help by email which have been submitted through the LLLGB website
- Write articles for Breastfeeding Matters, LLLGB's magazine for mothers, and write and review new and revised LLLGB leaflets and information sheets.
- Read up on the latest breastfeeding research and articles, to keep our knowledge up-to-date
- Attend LLL workshops and conferences
But of course, we think our most important activity is to be mums to our families!
