Loren Rullman serves the University of Michigan as Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, where he supervises student life and auxiliary enterprise operations such as University Housing, University Unions, Student Activities & Leadership, food service, campus conferencing and student life facilities planning. Previous positions include Director of University Unions at the University of Michigan; Executive Director of the Memorial Union & IU Auditorium at Indiana University; Assistant Vice President and Director of Auxiliary Services at Southeast Missouri State University; Director of the Gengras Student Union & Student Activities at the University of Hartford; and Director of Conference Services & Assistant Director of Athletic Development at Kutztown University.
He has presented over two dozen times at regional and national conferences; has been published seven times in various journals; and has served as a consultant for five universities. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Missouri - St. Louis; a M.S. in Higher Education from Indiana University; and a B.A. in Communication from Valparaiso University. His doctoral work focused upon political cynicism and civic engagement among college students, and his research was awarded the Dissertation of the Year by the American Association of University Administrators in 2006. |
