The group we've got going at the moment is the Golden-Oldies version which doesn't mean it's any different from any other version, just the maturity and experience and generation that is brought to explore the questions.

It's a lunchtime group we we take it interview by interview, moving swiftly on through the ones we don't quite get.

There's lots of explanation involved at times and lots of stories told about experiences in the past and how people used to life the faith and how they are enabled to do that now. It's an honest group that is a whole lot more broadminded than you'd imagine. 'Wait a minute, you can't think that, you're generation didn't imagine things that way...' is often the thought. Such prejudice. But the reality is quite, quite different.

So refreshing to know people have been thinking creatively, honestly and with integrity on the life and place and idea of Jesus for generations. At last the church is listening, or at least this wee bit of it.
