Welcome!

The Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is an arm of local government representing agricultural producers in Livingston County, Illinois. The District provides conservation practice technical assistance, administers programs from the State of Illinois, and educational programs for students, educators, and the general public.
 
Representatives of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) are partners with the district, welcoming us into their office, and providing technical assistance with conservation programs.

Welcome Jesse Tinges! The District would like to welcome Jesse Tinges as the new WAE (temporary employee) for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Jesse is from the Fairbury area and graduated from the U of I with a degree in Landscape Architecture. Below is a picture of Jesse assisting with our Fall Fish Sale.
