Being Smart, Going Green
What will our world be like in 2020? We are headed towards an unthinkable future. The design world of tomorrow must be flexible, adaptable, and interactive, melding technological advances with our changing values.
The goal of Living Labs Workshop is to generate new ideas and technologies that could have a major impact on the design of the future. Living Labs are user-centric environments for open innovation where spaces, products, and services are created and validated in collaborative and empirical real-world settings. This will be a hands-on workshop. Prototypes will be created during the workshop. A number of international scholars will collaborate with students and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
Living Labs Workshop’09 is organized by the Center for the Technologies of Ubiquitous Computing and Humanity (TOUCH Center) and College of Planning and Design at NCKU.
