Experience
-
NATIONAL TAIWAN UNIVERSITY (Taipei, Taiwan)
Research Assistant / Teaching Assistant 05/05 – 06/07· Analysis: Analyzed statistical frame data to model the foreground objects for tracking their positions. Redesigned software pipeline and restructured the immersive interface system, resulting in 30% improvement in the efficiency of image synthesis.
· Software Development: Applied camera calibration and computer vision techniques using MATLAB, C++, OpenCV Library, and Intel Integrated Performance Primitives Libraries.
· Teamwork: Cooperated with a 30-person research team and integrated the immersive interface into a complete surveillance system, including scenario development and prototype design.
· Communication: Taught one graduate level course and graded students’ homework and examinations.
GROUNDHOG TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Taipei, Taiwan)
Part-time Research Engineer 05/05 – 06/07· Analysis: Analyzed the complexity of algorithms and designed an approximation algorithm for structuring the resources in the wireless telecom system.
· Software Development: Implemented both greedy and branch-and-bound algorithms for general assignment problems, using Perl to preprocess data, C++ and Standard Template Library for system development.
