AKWAABA - WELCOME

Welcome to Shiloh Academy's On the road Home.

Shiloh Evangelical Gospel Music Academy (S.E.G.M.A.) as described by the Originator of the Concept, Pastor and Evangelist Sampson Joe Baning is to lead Africans to praise God in our own way.
S.E.G.M.A. with its two bands Shiloh Super African Live Gospel Band the adult band also known as the Shiloh Band and the Junior L.T.J.B.M. Live Gospel Band affectionately called Ayeyie oo! or Praise Group is committed to providing music for worshiping God the African way or rather in a boiling pot sort of music that retains its African roots and yet is not estranged from concept of modern music.

Shiloh as our name spells out is Christian and all we do revolves around that.

Pastor Sampson Joe Baning is the Originator of the concept upon which the Academy and the Bands have formed.

Since the year 2000 when he begun an eight year long painstaking research into Music, African music types especially popular music and musical instrumentation till the day the Bands launched three straight albums at a go at an event which even veteran event organizers and managers classify VERY SUCCESSFUL many thought he wanted to pull music over the edge which the DAILY GRAPHIC put in these words  "many thought it was a bluff by a man with a few followers".

Now with a sixty man strong band - Singers and instrumentalist - Shiloh is  Africa's Biggest and No. 1 Live Gospel Band; the Shiloh Band is now taken serious. With two albums already out and a few slated for the immediate future we speak cofidently.

Ayeyie oo! Group as many prefer to call  the juvenile group is as vibrant as ever and never fail to pull a following, with their electrifying rhythms and inspired lyrics these youngster have carved a nitch for themselves and are not resting on that or on the fact that there is no band of their type and calibre accross mainland Africa.

The Bands toured many cities and towns within sourthern Ghana during the past year, with the pressure of preparing for their coming albums and the demand for their performances coming to a head we had to withdraw temporarily from performances in the meantime to allow the artists to finnish their work
