I had the opportunity to participate this past weekend with the great folks gathering
in Cambridge at Microsoft's New England Research and Development Center (NERD)
for the 2010 Give Camp.   Give Camp (Find on Facebook Here)  is a gathering of technology
professionals generously donating their time and talents to write badly-needed software
solutions for non-profit agencies and charities.

I served as a junior member of the team that wrote the new website for Respond which pioneered the
movement to end domestic violence and is New England's first domestic violence agency and the
second oldest in the nation. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Something priceless grew out of the combined energies of
100 technical professionals and 24 organizations all determined to change the world.

It was a privilege to have the opportunity to work on such a worthwhile project with very warm, wonderful people.
