Grades K-1 are learning more about the Paint graphics program while they create and write about spring pictures. They are learning to:
- Adjust the view from normal to large
- Select colors for foreground and background
- Creat patterns with the pencil and spray paint tools
- Use the free-form selection tool and shift key to create designs
- Write words using the text box tool
Grade 2 is learning Inspiration graphics software and creating a timeline of five major events in their life.
Grades 3 - 4 is applying what they learned in April about working with photos to help them create a web page in Word. They will learn or review how to:
- Use keywords to search for specific information on the Internet
- Plan their web page
- Customize WordArt designs
- Save and insert pictures from the Internet onto their web pages
- Format the font style and alignment
Grades 5 - 6 are creating instructions, using Word, on how to correctly save or re-save a file and learning how to:
- Analyze and formulate the steps in a task using action verbs
- Capture and paste screen images
- Format, place and crop screen images
- Use drawing tools, such as arrows, to make steps clear
- Format text styles and alignment for emphasis
- Field test instructions to make sure they are clear.
