 Seth, Vern and Lesley took over the running of The Plough in November 2006 with the aim to modernise the facilities, increase the drinks choice available and make food a strong part of what the pub has to offer.
These aims are steadily being achieved whilst trying to keep the old character the building has gathered over the years.
A new patio terrace has recently been built in front of the restaurant for customers to enjoy a meal or just a drink relaxing in the sun. The old backyard has been reclaimed from weeds and the undergrowth, to be landscaped into an area suitable for the smokers to enjoy their pastime outside, as the pub is now completely no smoking.
Over the last few months the inside of the pub has had some refurbishment carried out and a lick of paint here and there, so take a visit to the plough for a friendly welcome, good food and fine beer.
