We specialize in the smallest recognized domestic rabbits.  Our smallest breed is the Netherland Dwarf weighing only two pounds.  We also raise the smallest lop-eared breed, the Holland Lop weighing only three to four pounds.

To breed top quality ARBA show rabbits, 4-H rabbits, breeding stock rabbits, and wonderful pet rabbits.

Profile

The Little Bunny Rabbitry was started in 1999 by Lance and Kari Higbee in Pocatello, Idaho.  It began with only two Dutch rabbits and has expanded ever since.  Our next addition was the Mini-Lop.  Over the years, we have introduced new breeds into our rabbitry and we strive to develop high quality rabbits.  While we started with Dutch and Mini-Lops, we no longer raise those two breeds.  We are currently focusing only on four breeds:  Netherland Dwarfs, Dwarf Hotots, Jersey Wooleys, and Holland Lops.  

We have lived in a number of different places from Logan, Utah to Potlatch, Idaho.  As of August 2006, we have decided to call Nampa, Idaho home and hope to live there for many more years.  Living in the Boise, Idaho area will allow us greater access to airline shipping as well as a variety of new areas to attend other ARBA shows. 

As many of you know, we travel extensively to ARBA shows in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.  We hope to be able to travel to additional shows in Oregon, Utah, and Wyoming as well.

We travel extensivly from Boise to Pocatello.  We also have lots of friends in Northern Idaho with possible rides for bunnies along the way from Boise to Moscow.

We are active in showing our rabbits at ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) competitions and promoting the 4-H program in learning about raising and handling rabbits.  Lance and Kari have co-taught rabbit 4-H since 2000 in both Bannock and Latah Counties in Idaho.
