Welcome to grade 4! I am so happy to have you all with me this year! Let me tell you a bit about myself
First of all my name is Lise Arora. Some people call me Lisa, but these are people who don’t know me very well. When I was born Lisa was a very popular name, mostly because Elvis Presley named his daughter Lisa. In every school I went to there where at least 10 Lisa’s so I became “Lise” when I was about your age. You may call me Mrs. Arora (which I prefer) or Ms. Lise.
My family moved a lot around the 
US so I never really “grew up” anywhere. I lived in 4 states and 10 towns and when I was in elementary school. We alsways lived on a farm and had many animals and gardens.When I was 17 my family moved to Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Westwood High School and then went on to get my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State University and my Masters Degree from National University in California. That is eight years of school to get where I am now!

I am married to my best friend, Mr. Chevy, a really cool computer teacher and have some great teenage children. My son, Justen is in his last year at a university in Seattle, Washington. My middle daughter, Shayla is in Community College in Seattle, and my not so little baby, Hallee just started her Third year of high school this year. We also have a lovely daughter Jessica that we "adopted" from China. She is 18 now and is going to collage in Los Angeles.
I also have many animals including fourMini Pin dogs,(Muxu, Truffles, Bingo and Lucy) two cats ( Sukothai, and Dragon) and a bunny name Rosie. At home in America I lived on a ranch and had many animals like horses and chickens.
*Outside of school, I enjoy horses,1950’s stuff, traveling and yoga. My favorite pastimes are: scrap booking, reading, and handwork. My biggest passion is children's books. I love, love,love to read and I hope I can help you love books too!
This is my fourth year in Chiang Mai. Before coming to Thailand I worked at an international school in Shenzhen, China.*I have taught for a very long time (more than 20years…ugh!). My favorite grade, obviously, is 4th, though I have taught grades k, 1, 2, 5th and high school too.
