Teaching
Until recently, I have played as a tutor in akae embedded systems research center, Beijing. Akae is a leading professional training institution in China. In there, I gave 12-hour lectures per-week (totally 200 hours so far) on C Programming and Linux Application and Kernel Development, to 2 classes each consisting of 25 students. I also prepared syllabus, sample codes, admission tests, homework, and several quizzes. Plus, I graded students’ performance based on their homeworks, projects and exams.
Teaching is fun. I have made many friends and my work is also appreciated.
Industrial Research Experience
I am very lucky to meet Mr. Daan Ma, a great mentor and researcher. Ma has spent a long time in world-class Labs such as National Brookhaven Lab and Severe Storm Lab. In his lab, I participated in the project of Airda Wind Profiler. It is a sophisticated system that could detect every tiny air turbulence as far as 5 to 10km above us.
I spent three years to improve positioning component of the system and the signal processing algorithm. I also re-constructed the old code of the whole system. My work is appreciated.
