I will use this site to collect tips and tricks, information and references for the Linux Kernel Virtualization Module (KVM)
Currently this site is mostly for my benefit, however, some material may be useful to others.
Keep in mind that some of the material here is specific to Debian / Ubuntu and may not apply well to RedHat / Centos / Fedora.
Some of the information on this site is the result of experiments and testing conducted on my own system. For this reason, my results may not match yours precisely. Details of my test-bed:

Note that there are already a lot if sites / wiki dealing with Linux KVM, in fact, a good deal of the information presented here was collected from these sites. I will try and keep the references page up-to-date with hints about good information sources.
For now, to save space and avoid duplication, I assume the reader has some basic knowledge about virtualization and what Linux KVM is for. I f you need some more basic background, please check the references.
