About LindyWeb

Well, Lindy Web today is not really the result of team-work. I however hope that I can soon list some Lindy Hop followers as member of the LindyWeb team on this page. It would be nice to get some contributions, small articles and maybe photos around Lindy Hop events that I can publish on this site, maybe a link to your own photo albums, your blog or own swing-related site ? .... If you would be interested to contribute, please mail me so that we can discuss the co-operation...

I have started Lindy Hop dancing sowhat one year and a half ago in a local Rock-and-Roll Club (the RockWippies) in Duffel. I am not a Rock-and-Roll dancer so I have plenty of difficulties following the rhythm and moves that are teached there in preparation of competitions ... I was happy to find the Apollo Swing courses which concentrate more on the social dance Lindy Hop can be ... What a nice alternative to the other social dances, Salsa and Argentine Tango, I have danced in the past years... I have started the LindyWeb website after having contributed for several years now in the creation and maintenance of the Belgian SalsaWeb site ; you should therefore note be surprised to see some similarity in the logo. I hope that I can convince my Salsa friends also to find some fun in dancing Lindy Hop, the main reason I have started with this site... So... see you on the dance-floor..   (met dank aan Frans Switsers / foto genomen op een "Kattendijktango" donderdag avond)
