History
Linden Gardens
is the oldest continuously operated
flower shop in the region. It’s founder, Warner Hopkins, ran the business as
“Hopkins The Florist” in the 1930’s and 40’s on Main st. In the late 40’s he moved the business to
it’s current location on Linden Street and changed the name to Linden
Gardens. In August of
1989, Cathy and Ed Toomey purchased Linden Gardens from the former
owners.

Who we are and what we do…
We are a full
service florist offering traditional and contemporary floral designs for all
occasions. We design for everyday needs
(birthdays, parties, get well, etc.) and special occasions (weddings, funerals,
business openings, etc.) In the shop we
offer a wide variety of floral arrangements, houseplants, stuffed creatures, gift items and balloons. OUR BEST OFFER IS THAT ORIGINAL ARRANGEMENT MADE JUST FOR YOUR TASTE! PLEASE VIEW OUR ARRANGEMENT PHOTOS FOR IDEAS!!! We deliver
locally, nationally and internationally through Teleflora. At memorial day we offer
cemetery plantings and pans. At
Christmas, we offer wreaths, roping and log boxes for the home or for cemetery
delivery.
Hours of
Operation
We are usually
open
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday thru Friday
- 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM on Saturday
- We are closed
on Sunday except under unusual circumstances.
- We are also
closed on:
- New Years day*, Easter, Memorial Day (3 days), July 4th*,
Labor day (3 days), Thanksgiving*, and Christmas.
- * May be 3 days
depending on which day it falls.
