Linda is a writer and marketing communications consultant who helps companies develop content that showcases the best, most authentic version of their brand and communicate their mission to the right audiences through the best channels.

Linda's varied career has included significant time in the media business, the arts and the tech sector, as well as serving as Assistant Secretary for Marketing & Communications for Maryland's Department of Business & Economic Development (now Department of Commerce). Most recently she spent almost eight years at basys, a national leader in benefits administration software for labor unions, where she helped establish a brand that reflects its mission to help workers and retirees take care of their families.

She spent 15 years at Baltimore Sun Media Group, where she leveraged the company's business relationships with organizations like the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and Ripken Baseball to create integrated marketing programs that generated millions in incremental revenue for The Sun and baltimoresun.com. She has experience on the journalism side of the publishing business, covering the Maryland and Delaware beach resorts for The Sun over the summer tourism season, and spent several years as General Manager of Alter Communications, publisher of the Baltimore Jewish Times, STYLE magazine and a portfolio of custom media publications. Linda also spent more than a decade as Director of Communications for Center Stage, Baltimore's nationally celebrated resident professional theater, where she helped generate a 19% lift in young adult attendance.

Linda, who is co-author (with David Pugh) of The Book of Baltimore Orioles Lists, has won multiple awards for her work, including gold medals from the International Newspaper Marketing Association, top honors in the Maryland-DC-Delaware Press Association advertising creative competition, and a national strategic communications award from the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Having shifted from full-time work to project-based content consulting, she lives on Maryland's Eastern Shore with her husband, Mike.
