This portfolio is a showcase of my work as a graduate student in the School of Library and Infomation Management (SLIM) at Emporia State University. It contains artifacts I have created in my courses and relates those artifacts to the Masters of Library Science Outcomes and Professional Values , Kansas Standards for School Library Media Specialists and the Conceptual Framework of the ESU Teacher's College .
My work in SLIM has prepared me for a position as a librarian in many settings, however my goal is to become an elementary school librarian. I am excited about combining my knowledge and skills as a classroom teacher with my new expertise in library science to become a dynamic and effective librarian in the elementary school setting.
I am excited about my new career and proud to be a member of this ever growing, ever changing profession of information science. |
