Lincoln Grand Prix 10 May 2009

The 54th Lincoln Grand Prix took place over the weekend of 9th and 10th May 2009.  Over 200 riders from various teams took part in the event, covering 86.5 miles over 11 laps, including climbing St Michaels Gate, a rival if any for the famous Steep Hill of Lincoln.  The race was won for the second year running by Russell Downing, followed closely by Ian Wilkinson.  These are some just some of the pictures taken over the weekend, including the preperation before the start.
