Welcome to Verona Plantation Hunting Lodge's temporary site.  My name is Dock Boone and I am the owner and operator of Lily Pond Creek Hunting Lodge in Northampton County N.C. I have been guiding hunts for seventeen years and I have owned and operated Lily Pond Creek since 1994. I am proud of the fact that I still have hunters hunting with me that started hunting here back in 94. Our repeat bookings run better than 90%.  We have an excellent reputation for running an honest, top notch operation. Our repeat hunter percentage speaks for itself.

We  have just obtained 7000 acres of new land and are in the process of opening a new lodge. Normally this time of year we are almost completely booked at Lily Pond, but now, since we have obtained this property we have many openings all throughout the season. This is some of the best land in Northampton County and we are very excited about the upcoming season. This has created an excellent chance for you the hunter to come and experience some of North Carolinas best hunting opportunities. We will be offering Spring Turkey Hunts and Whitetail Deer Hunts this year, and planning to add duck, quail, bear as well as small game in the future.

This lodge however, will be managed a little differently from Lily Pond. This land will be trophy managed and there will be size restrictions on bucks.  We will consult with biologists to help us choose the best management practice for this property and I am certain we will produce bucks that you will be proud to take to your local taxidermist.

Since we have been in business, it has been hard for new hunters to book hunts with us because of the high percentage of repeat clients. Most of our hunters rebook before they leave.
