and 5lbs he is all black with one white paw and i
rescued him on jan 8,2007from a rescue in n.j,. the
vet said he is about 4years old and in good health
thank God and he is the greatest little guy i love

| Hello, I just read your story about your Bitsy, and
I do know your sorrow. I too just lost my little
angel, "Abby" a little black girl toy poodle. She
was a rescue dog, and she was sooo humble. She loved
her life, and could not take her eyes off of me,
ever! It was mutual worship. She was between 9-10yrs
old.
The other morning, Oct.13 (Friday the 13th), she got
up took a nap, ate some chicken, played with me,
and "spun out" around the room, barked at the post-
man, then walked over on the carpet, sat down
starring ahead, then just fell over!! I jumped up
and grabbed her, and she let out about 3 shrieks,
went limp and was dead!!!!!!!!!!! I have bawled for
days about her. We did an autopsy, vet thought maybe
a heart attack, but since talking to breeders since
then, they think it very well could have been "heart-
worms". I had talked to the vet many times about
that, but he assured me she did not have them, so we
never tested her; and we should have!!
I could tell you stories about this angel too, that
are so charming and amusing. I would like to hear
more from you, as we share a common sorrow, and
since you have a toy poodle, I would like to tell
you more about my toy as she had such a personality.

| Hi Pamela,
Lil-Lea looks so cozy in her new crib. How
adorable. I can understand how upset you must have
been to have read the posters negative comment,
that was not necessary, nor nice of her. I'm so
very sorry that you lost your little girl and most
recently your Bitsy. I'm glad that Lil-Lea has
been able to give you and your husband such joy.
She's a lucky girl to have found you.
I think her room is adorable. I love just love the
bed and seeing all the little clothes in her
closet.
I'm glad to have met you in the poodle groups.

| Thank you everyone for your wonderful encouraging
comments. We are enjoying our little girl very
much. She certainly helped cushion the blow from
losing Bitsy. Eventually she will be potty trained
and out of onsies and diapers. Her potty training
is coming along slow but sure. Thank you so much
for your thoughts.
And to the person who left a nasty note, yes, Lil-
Lea is a child replacement, in a way...for the
daughter I lost to illness, when she was 9 months
old and for the little girl that Rick and I can
never have. I can certainly think of a lot worse
things to happen to a little 5 lb poodle then to be
over-loved and treated like a little human. And,
she hates the outdoors! I can barley get her on
the grass to even play! So, if you can't say
soemthing nice, then please, don't say anything at
all! This is a happy place and time for us..... so
I will just delete yor comments anyway~ |

| I am so ecstatic to see how excited you are to get
Leslie. I can relate to how much you miss Bitsy,
and am positive that Leslie will make her own place
in your heart all the while helping your heart to
heal over Bitsy's loss. I cannot wait to watch her
