JANUARY 05th TRIP TO THE ROOM STORE Rick and I needed to purchase a new box spring and mattress. We now have an old queen size and it has had it. We decided on a King because Lil-Lea does not have enough room on our queen size, for her bed, which sits in between our two pillows, so during the night, one of us, or both of us, end up encroaching on her bed with our arms or our heads and she has had enough of that !!! She has made it perfectly clear to us that she has has enough, by pushing at us with her paws to push us away from *her area* ! So, we told her Majesty Diva that we would accommodate her request and purchase anew King Size bed, so she will have plenty of room. We took her with us, along with her bed, so she could approve the one she wants! All *WE* wanted it to be was SOFT! There rest was up to her! Needless to say, she made a huge hit at the store and employees were coming from everywhere else in the store to see the Diva. Rick was such a proud Daddy :) Here is the DIVA in her Special, plush chair and Missy is on the floor. They are basking themselves in the 80 Degree sun, in front of the sliding glass doors. I opened the door and there is a wonderful breeze coming in. 07th BED TIME LIL-LEA (coming Soon) One must realize that the Diva must have a new onesie to go with her spot on the new King Size bed <G> Here she is getting ready for bed. Messy hair day <G> (Because Daddy was home), and whenever he is home and takes a nap, sometimes Lil-Lea takes one too and she rubs all over the bed and snorts and snotrts and snorts, digging herself into the comforters..............does a number on her hair style, of course ! This was taken around 12:30 Noon. 09th BED DELIVERY SUCCESSFUL! The bed delivery was a sucessful and here is Lil-Lea on her new King size bed with her little pink bed, in between our pillows and her crib full of toys at the end of the bed. My pictures on the wall are crooked (I hate that) The DUVET COVER has not arrived yet either! It has deep reds and maroons in it and Lil-Lea wil show up much better on that then on this white <G> The new sheets did arrive though *Yippeee* 400TC cotton sateen from QVC :) Pure heaven, as I am sure Lil will testify to when she slips under the covers like she does when she plays with and drags bunny under there with her. 23rd LIL-LEA HAS GRADUATED - (Potty Photos) When Lil-Lea came here with us, she would just squat and go potty wherever she was. That was in 2006. She hates being out on the lawn too. But, she loves being out in the sun, on the deck. We made an indoor potty for her. At first she would *wander Out* while going, as she is a walker. But now, she knows to stay inside the potty area, so we moved the gate and lights to the back now. 23th MY NEW KING SIZE BED Duvet cover arrived - much better! Lil-Lea says she looks so much better in red and surrounded in luxury as a true princess -Diva should be!~ 25th LIL-LEA DAD And FOOD ! Lil-Lea and Daddy have this wonderful *food* relationship together, LOL Whenever and wherever Rick is and is eating, there Lil-Lea appears! <G> I think the photos will explain it ! 28th A NEW HAIRSTYLE I have been letting Lil-Lea's top knot grow really long. It is turning out gorgeous and sometimes I braid it too. FEBRUARY 10th LIL-LEA'S BEDROOM and NEW CARPET Rick and I went shopping in Wal-mart one day and I showed him carpets which I had been looking at for Lil-Lea's room. They were $29.99 and Rick saw one he wanted and we bought it and brought it home right then. I think he made a good choice :) 11th CHICKEN & FRENCH FRY TIME WITH DAD We almost never have French Fries in this house. We do not go to Fast Food Restaurants or eat fried food at home. But, this day I brought some home from the grocery store and Dad and Lil-Lea pigged out!~ 12th HER HIGHNESS DIVA LIL-LEA AFTER HER BATH You know................What can I say ..............She just *loves* the camera <G> 14th HAIR-HAIR-GROWING-GROWING I can't get over how long Lil-Lea's top knot is now. I have not braided in awhile............so maybe I will try soon. MARCH 09th DAD AND LIL-LEA READING TOGETHER These are really cute photos of Lil-Lea and Daddy together while Daddy was reading. JUNE 09th LIL-LEA AND DAD *ON DECK* ! I was in food lion last month and saw these small child's chairs and made a mental note to pick one up. I was there again the other day and they had two left, so I grabbed one. She looks so cute sitting with her Dad in her own little chair. I have to find a pad that fits it now. 10th LIL-LEA FRESHLY GROOMED EXCEPT HER FEET Sometimes I groom Lil-Lea in Stages. The weather has been in the high 90's and the heat index has been 110. We have central A/C, but I decided to cut her down to keep her cool for when she goes out on the deck with us and at night, when the A/C is off sometimes. I used a #10 blade on her body and an # A15 on her face. When I do her feet, I will use a #15 on them also. 11th LIL-LEA AND DAD EATING LUNCH TOGETHER Rick informed me the other day, that we need to get Lil-Lea a chair and put her up to the table with us, to eat. So, I pulled over the cat food container (it's on wheels) and covered with a towel, so she does not slip..and there she be <G> The interesting part is the , even though it is cute to some people, and possibly obnoxious to others, it is very convenient for me. I no longer have to be getting down on my hands and knees cleaning up dry food off the floor , which she either missed her bowl (when Rick throws it down to her) or when there is no plate at all (and Rick throws it down for her). Also, Sammy can't shove her out of her food any more,so she eats all her food now. Who would have guessed it was that simple to fix ! Sammy weighs 12 or 13 lbs to poor little Lil-Lea's 7lbs, not to mention he is a huge bogart!. 13th SAM BOGARTING LIL-LEA'S BED 14th LIL-LEA TRYING OUT DADDY'S CUPCAKE! 29th LIL-LEA SITTING AND WAITING FOR *BRUNCH* JULY 8th RICK AND LIL-LEA *ON DECK* .... Sammy just insists on following her around in order to get next to me. Sam has been with us since the 1990's and he is the Patriarch of the house. He will be 12 in 2009~ He is my other child! He follows me almost as much as Lil-Lea does and that compete for my attention. When I go to bed at night, Sam is on one side of me and Lil-Lea is either on the other side, or in her bed in between the pillows, or on top of my pillows. 23rd TOO EARLY IN THE MORNING ...VIDEO 26th PREPARING A DIAPER FOR LIL-LEA ....VIDEO Lil wears a HUGGIES 0-3 months size. She weighs about 7lbs. 0-3 months in Huggies fir up to 14 lbs. This is really simple to do and one reallyl can skip the *Martini* <Grin> 26th LIL-LEA AND DADDY PLAYING ON THE BED ...VIDEO 26th MOMMY AND DADDY PLAYING WITH LIL-LEA ON BED ...VIDEO 26th GETTING LIL-LEA TO DRINK WATER INSTEAD OF MILK ...VIDEO SEPTEMBER 03rd LIFE IS JUST TOO EXHAUSTING SOMETIMES, MOM I was working away on my computer and, I looked over at Lil-Lea and this is what I saw, ROFLOL She was sitting on her Pet Food Container , on wheels which is her new chair now, that I use so she can sit at the table and next to me. I took a piece of non-skid fabric and glued it on the top of the container and then I put her pad on top of that. With the non-skid on it, nothing slides off the top. I think I might ask Yvonne to make a cloth top that can snap on it. It rolls right under my kitchen table and ask you can see, it is just right for to wheel next to her Mommy while I work on the computer. When I looked over at her this afternoon, I started laughing at how she was lying there, so I just had to share. OCTOBER 11th A TINY WHITE BOX SITTING IN A BIG BLACK CHAIR - WARNING !!!
