About me

Hi I'm Lilian Weng (翁荔), a PhD student in Informatics (Track in Complex Networks and Systems), School of Informatics and Computing, Indiana University Bloomington. I'm part of the Network & Agent Networks (NaN) Research Group, Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research(CNetS), headed by Prof Filippo Menczer. My Research interests include: web mining, machine learning, social computing, social network analysis, social application, complex networks/modeling, and human computer interaction. Precisely, my current research focuses on Information propagation, social contagion and modeling

I love internet, various interesting applications, and complicated relationship among different online elements. There exist so many things I don't know that I always feel ignorant, and then I turn to books, articles, internet and people, and learn. This process of discovering my own ignorance and learning in order to fulfill my own knowledge base in brain always makes me happy and enjoyable.
