Lil Fellas Falabellas

Wishfull Falabella Pequeno Hombre (C)

Born 4/18/2008

Pinto/Chestnut and white with a blaze.

This little guy is an eye catcher!  He was born at the amazing height of 17 inches, and we are so proud of him.  He is showing great jumping potential!  He can jump very high, even though he is only 20 some inches tall!  He is sired by Paradise Chupa Chup, and out of Falabella AF Granada.  We bought this guy from Liz Visser of Make A Wish Miniatures, you can find her link in Lady's description.  We plan to use Hombre in our breeding program later on.

S Starr Seven Three Times A Lady (M)

 Born 07/19/2005

Black with a faint star

Our sweet little mare is sired by Toyland Regalo Falabella, and out of R&S Sunrise Portentos Mist, making her a Falabella blend, 90% Falabella.  We all thank Liz Visser from Make a Wish Miniatures for this lovely mare.  (www.equineobsession.com/makeawish)

Lady was a blast to use as a 4-H project in the 2009 year. Lady and Shauna took home many firsts, a few seconds and a first. Lady, as stubborn as she is, is one of the sweetest horses you will ever meet. Fearless, beautiful, and daring, she's the perfect horse for anything. Lady did well in 4-H in 2010, also, just not quite as well, as the person handling her was inexperienced.

Copper (G)

Copper is a strawberry roan gelding with a thick blaze
.
Copper is a therapy mini that we got from Hearts and Hooves in Edmonton. He is approximately 10 years old, and a gorgeous roan colour. He's a sassy yet gentle pony, and he does pretty much anything you ask of him. He wasn't too impressed when we tried to jump him in 4-H! He's handsome and great in hospitals and senior centers. He and his brother, Chase, are pretty much bomb proof. He is a little chunky this year. Maybe we shouldn't spoil him so much!

Chase (G)

Chase is a flaxen chestnut gelding with a star and "faded" socks.

Chase is a gorgeous 9 year old full brother to Copper. He's also a therapy horse, and a little less irritable than Copper. He hasn't been used in 4H and might not be, simply because we don't associate with the local clubs much anymore, simply because of a lack of time. Just because he's never been used in 4H doesn't mean he isn't fantastic. He does everything you ask of him. He's a doll around people, but around Lady he's a little pushy!!

 Our Other Horses

Rayo De Luna (M)

Moonbeam is a 6 year old paint mare with a bald face and pinto markings.

Shauna and Moonbeam had a great 4-H year, and proved that the underdog can still beat the glitz and glam! This beauty is currently being used as a lesson horse at Lakewood Equestrian Centre in Burwyn, Alberta, and we have a feeling she'll do just fine. She is now registered with the International Spotted Horse Association as Rayo De Luna, and her parents are unknown.

Molson Canadian (G)

Molson is a 6 year old black purebred Canadian gelding with no markings.

He was bought from an auction in April, 2009, by us! Molson is 15.2hh, chubby, but oh-so-sweet. He is currently being schooled into a lovely lower-level dressage horse. He's got a solid 3 gaits on him, loves trail riding, and does a fabulous job of leg yielding and such great halts. Despite a rocky start, Molson is a very sweet and gentle man.

Shauna fell in love with him when viewing the horses at the auction.  He was friendly and gorgeous, and hard to keep eyes off of.

Leonandy (G)

Leonandy (Leon) is a gentle giant, standing at 17.1hh. He is a talented Hanoverian/Swiss Warmblood gelding. At shows, everyone stops and stares and he doesn't give anything a second glance. Leon has a fantastic work ethic and not to mention a beautiful face and colour. He was originally from Red Deere, and does not live at our farm, he's in training up north at Lakewood Equestrian Centre in Berwyn, Alberta. We have a fantastic trainer/instructor working on our lovely Warmblood. He's one of a kind, for sure.
