A Welcome Message: Greetings and salutations, If this is your first visit, head on over to the Projects page--it truly is the meat and potatoes of the site. Unless you're a vegetarian following Atkin's, of course. In any event, enjoy. --Josh
News and other such nonsense: February 1, 2008 Awful quiet 'round here. Lately, I have been getting back into computer vision (read: playing with OpenCV) and working on a spectrum analyzer using the DARN hardware layer and revamped software/firmware. I'll be adding that article and a template project for you'all to play around with shortly. Here's a hint: ZedGraph and Math.Net Iridium are some of my new best friends.
December 18, 2007 Last article is up. After writing three quarters of the article, I decided to remove the R/C hacks project. Why? There was no real engineering to it and it could have injured an impulsive reader. So I decided to ere on the side of caution. This time.
December 13, 2007 DARN, Camtroller, and Faux Fox Knocks project pages are live. Huzzah! Check them out now at the projects page.
December 2, 2007 Added links for my Live Journal and MySpace page, where I plan to host articles and writeups. Also, the project page has been updated with abreviated project blurbs. Individual project pages shall be posted shortly. In the cryptic words of the White Russian, "I'm working on it."
November 25, 2007 After several months of hosting my website at home, I have finally conceded defeat. This is due to number of different factors. The computer previously handling the effort concurrently hosts the sensor data for DARN (link forthcoming.) As this computer frequently makes road trips, it was no longer practical to host both on the same machine. Additionally my ISP has proved itself unreliable time and time again, so why cross fingers against the inevitable failure when it can be circumvented entirely? Of course the downside to this scenario is being limited by Google's Page Creator. There are a number of features that are limited or disabled. Until I learn the workarounds, this website will remain a fairly typical Page Creator design.
September 11, 2007 A note for the viewer: This site is currently a bit sparse with content (read: lacking entirely). Don't be concerned, this matter will be addressed shortly. The current modus operandi is to provide the layout first, and then the information will follow. Take note, putting the wagon before the horse only works with genetically modified horses, so don't try this at home. |
