| Since a dramatic encounter with God in 2000, Samuel has been taught and equipped by the Holy Spirit in preparation for the glorious purposes of God on the earth. While attending Stanford University, Samuel was trained in the art of intercession and activated in the spiritual gifts of prophecy and healing. A vision for revival was also developed during this time. Upon graduation from Stanford, the Holy Spirit ushered Samuel into a season of deeper brokenness and intimacy with the Lord, in which the lifestyle of waiting on God in the secret place was birthed. In this season, Samuel received a powerful revelation of the Father's love and sonship, which transformed his life and style of ministry as well. Soon, God relocated Samuel to Charlotte, North Carolina, to participate in MorningStar Ministries, headed by Rick Joyner. In the spiritually-rich environment of the Charlotte region, Samuel was also able to connect with the 24/7 House of Prayer movement, pioneered locally under the leadership of Greg Burnett. Within 6 months of residing in Charlotte, the Lord launched Samuel into fulltime ministry. Thus, Light Amp was founded. Doors were opened for him to minister to local youth, and internationally in East Asia, with fresh worship, teaching, and impartation of the Father's love. Today, Samuel is based in Bothell, Washington, in the Seattle area in Northwest US. He is a licensed minister with International Fellowship of Ministries (IFM). His ministry is also linked to Vision Team International, a missions organization founded by his parents based in California. Samuel is continually pursuing a deeper relationship with God, and learning more about mysteries of His kingdom. He sees Seattle as a gateway to the mission fields of East Asia, though the local Northwest region is a sizeable mission field itself. Samuel was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. His family immigrated to the United States in 1988. For more information on Samuel's background, click on the "Sam on the Web" links to your right | NewsletterCalendarContact InfoDonate
