LINK LADY SWAPS

LINK LADY MINIATURE SWAPS
Link Lady is a swap group for those who prefer to do one on one swaps, rather than many swaps at one time.

Those who own multi swap groups, and those who are involved in several multi swap groups, are not eligible to swap with Link Lady.
 
HOW IT WORKS:
Once a month we have a round of swapping. Each person who wants to be in the round provides ONE swap item.
The swap item can be made by you, or purchased from another artisan. Commercial miniatures are not allowed unless they are unique or hard to find, or contain some portion that is hand made.

We are not "officially" in a round of swapping until we announce that our swap is ready to mail. This prevents us from being obligated, if we are unable to get our swap done on time.
We MUST mail our swap to our partner on the Friday or Saturday of the deadline week.
You will receive the name of the person you will be sending your swap to on that Friday morning.

I do ask that all members photo or scan the swap they have made. If you don't have this capability, the person who receives your swap will do that for you. All our photos are uploaded to the photo section of the group, AFTER the swap has been received by your partner.

QUALITY SCALE AND VALUE OF SWAP ITEMS:
Since it is very difficult for most of us to accurately value our own minis, we do not have a specific $ guideline. Dollar items and printies are not acceptable, unless they are only a part of the total swap.

If you are a collector and purchase your items to participate in the Swap Group, purchased items should be valued at around $12+

I want to encourage all miniaturists to strive to do their best. By the same token, I am still intimidated when swapping, and I understand that others will be too. If you feel your swap is not as good as the one you received, learn from it, and know that you will continue to improve. Perfection is a journey, not a destination. If the swapper you received from, chose to go all out, and do something that took many more hours, or ability than you have, that was her choice and not something you have to live up to.

Link Lady is a group for one on one swappers. We do put much more time and effort into our swaps than we would if this were a multi swap group.

SCALE:

Items are to be in 1” scale. Please keep scale in mind when making your item. If you are not sure what size to make something, I will be happy to advise you.

GROUP PURPOSE:
SHARE, ENCOURAGE, LEARN and HAVE FUN.
The group is open to miniaturists of all levels, who are willing to put TIME and effort into their creations, or for collectors who are "creative shoppers."
People new to miniatures are always welcome.

THIS GROUP IS BASED ON THE JOY AND PRIDE IN CREATING AND SHARING MINIS.
NOTE:
Due to the current difficulties and expense of mailing out of the country, USA members are swapping only with other USA members at this time. I will gladly co-ordinate concurrent swaps with the same guidelines for members of other countries.
