Liberated Individuals for the Environment- Ohlone College's Environmental Club
The Liberated Individuals for the Environment (LIFE Club) was established in the Fall of 2006 as Ohlone's premier environmental club. They have hosted events such as Earth Week, Energy Awareness Day, The 11th Hour Screening, a showing of the Inconvenient Truth, and much more! The LIFE Club is one of the most active clubs on the Ohlone College Campus. Ohlone College is a multi-campus, single college district located in Fremont, California with a satellite location in Newark, California. We have gained momentum in the past few semesters at Ohlone. We are excited to have opened the Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology in Spring of 2008, and are excited for the opening of the new Student Service Building in the Spring of 2009. Both of which are on track to be LEED certified platinum and silver respectively.
