Library Reform Group
The Library Reform Group was formed in 2004 in response to the Providence Public Library’s decision to layoff 21 librarians and clerks. We work on the state and city level to make the library more responsive to the community. We publicize news of what is happening (or not) happening at the PPL and work for reform of Providence Public Library through petitions, letter writing and participation in public meetings. Our goals are:
