| You could be! In fact, the more people truly look at the Libertarian platform and how we approach issues, they find they do have Libertarian instincts! Hopefully that didn't scare you away, but one quick way to check is to take the "World's Smallest Political Quiz" hosted by The Advocates for Self-Government. No matter the outcome, you will know more about yourself than you did before; and you may just find out you are really a Libertarian! (GASP!) There are five brief questions in each category - Personal issues and Economic issues - please take a few minutes to check it out. Liberals tend to value personal freedom and score highly there. Conservatives tend to value economic freedoms and score highly there. Libertarians, of course, value both. Statists, however, are against both! If you do score as a statist, just remember that if the party you don't support gets control of the government, those same things you like (control of personal and economic issues) suddenly become tools that can be used against you, too.
