Hello!  My name is Kevin Parr.   I am your Libertarian candidate for Missouri's 8th Senate District (Blue Springs, Buckner, Grain Valley, Lee's Summit, Levasy, Lone Jack, Oak Grove, and Sibley).  THANK YOU to those who voted for me in the 2008 race for State Representative -- we can and will do better this time; we will get our message of lower taxes, smaller government, and more liberty to more and more people with your help and our combined voices.

Many people say they don't want to 'waste' their vote on a Libertarian ... really?  First -- voting is never a waste; you are putting into practice the most fundamental part of our democratic society.  Second -- having voted Democratic or Republican all these years, have the battles for morals and values and politics been worth it?  Have you received everything you wanted?  

We must do better as a people to reclaim the revolutionary heritage that is ours -- by reclaiming what is ours (the government); and that means not doing what we have always done in the past.  It means, simply, that to expect true change we must be willing to change ourselves, change the way we vote, and change the way we look at government.  Check out the links to the left to read just how the Libertarian approach to self-government returns the power, money, and influence back to you and away from career politicians and their big-money special interest lobbyist who think the State Capitol belongs to them!
