- Thanks to the efforts of the ECOS club and Mrs. Montgomery, each LHS class room has recieved a paper recycling bin.
- Every hallway has a blue recycle bin(s) for the disposal of cans and bottles. Paper garbage and regular trash are not to be placed in these bins.
- In the cafeteria, wooden covers (courtesy of the woods department) have been placed over trash cans to be used for the disposal of cans and bottles only.
