  • To develop a concept of good vocal production including proper tone, breath support, proper intonation, and accurate diction. 
  • To develop music literacy by understanding the relationship between sound and symbol.
  • To contribute to the blend, balance, and quality of the ensemble by developing the ability to sing a vocal part securely and uniformly.
  • To recognize musical elements and demonstrate expressive qualities of the various styles of choral music - learning the relationship of music to the other arts and disciplines outside the arts.
