William "Buster" Leyland (a.k.a Dad), Owner of a 1947 White WB 20 Tractor purchased in Peterborough in 1997. Paid $800 plus delivery. It was stored in Palmerston for years before being stored in Listowel at a friends house. We thought this truck would never see a garage until it was brought back to Palmerston in 2006 to start the restoration after we built a new shop. Buster has been fixing up this truck in his spare time over the last couple of years, He got the original inline 6 cylinder engine running after fighting with a ceized valve and has rebuilt many parts. He has also replaced all of the wooden interior and welded in some new metal. Slowly but surly he has been getting the truck back on its wheels over the last year. Some of the electrical has been replaced but still needs finishing, maybe we'll give it some colour this coming summer.
Buster hopes to one day drive this truck with the family company name "Leyland's Limited" on the door!
