Koputaroa Half Marathon               (plus 5km & 10km run/walk)

The annual Levin Half Marathon event has returned to the traditional home, starting at Koputaroa School.

The half marathon course is a challenging and varied two lap circuit.
Starting at Koputaroa School
  • down Tavistock Rd
  • along SH57 to Heatherlea East Rd
  • up Heatherlea to SH1 (nice undulating 4km run)
  • down Koputaroa Rd.
For the 10km you head back to the school,            
 
For the half marathon, over the railway line into Tavistock to complete Lap 2.
 
The 5km course is an out and back along Tavistock Road.

  • Late entry fee applies after 11 October 2011 for Half Marathon only.
     

Eligibility:

  • The race is open to entrants after payment of the nominated fee.
  • Half marathon runners must be over 16 years of age.
  • Anyone under the age of 13 may only compete in the company of an adult.

Entry Details:

  • Entries will be received until 20 minutes before the start of each event
  • No entry fee refunds after 11 October 2011. Refund will be less $10 administration fee.

How to get there:
 
The green arrow indicates the event centre.  
 
Koputaroa is on the outskirts of the Levin township.
 
Heading North, pass through Levin on SH1 - it is on the right hand side opposite The Avenue Rd.

Heading north on SH 57, turn left into Ihakara and travel down Tavistock Rd to Koputaroa School.

 

Results from this event will be posted as soon as possible after the run.

Certificates will be available on the day, ready to be filled out with your result.
