Last year our family decided we'd make homemade presents for one another instead of buying them for special occasions from now on. A couple of us made soaps and candles, a couple painted pictures, others knitted and still others did some woodworking. I was one of the ones who made soap but I also added salt and brown sugar scrub to the basket. At first the soap wouldn't hold together well but as I continued trying, the soap became uglier and uglier but the quality got better and better. I started growing herbs and flowers using fertilizer the horses provided and natural bug repellents kept the critters away. The soap improved and took on a life of it's own.... thus my Ugly Soap was born....  sounded good but I wasn't satisfied until I added my own touch (and ingredients) to it. The ingredients are simple but effective and all natural.... my father even grows the hibiscus flowers for use in these products. Bath Teas are something new but once you try it, you'll fall in love with the aroma and how relaxing your bath becomes when you use them.  This is the tiny shop behind my home where all my products are made. As small as it is, it has plenty of room for new ideas, recipes and products that will enhance your bath or shower. I am constantly working on ways to make them even better. Each day I think of new recipes, combinations and packaging to make Letitia's Essentials more appealing to you... the customer. Come on it and check out the items I have at this time... it might not be many but I assure you they are made with you in mind! |
