This class is an introductory class about how to carry a firearm concealed in a safe and effective way. The instructor Benjamin Poller, has been carrying his firearm concealed every day for the last 12 years as part of his duty assignment as an investigator for the Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). He is also a Defense and Arrest Tactics Instructor and Firearms Instructor for DCI, and a member of a Statewide Tactical Response Team. As part of his investigative responsibilities he has responded to shootings, homicides, and officer involved shootings. This class covers: - Fundamental Rules for Firearms Safety - How to make a basic revolver and semi-auto handgun safe - Concealed Carry Holsters - Wisconsin CCW laws - Decision Making in shooting situations and what to expect - How to apply for a CCW license
A Certificate will be provided to everyone completing the class that satisfies the Wisconsin Department of Justice Standards for a CCW permit. Our next class will be on March 17, from noon to 4pm at Infusion MMA in Mt Horeb WI. Cost will be $75 per student, no firearms will be allowed in the classroom.
Thank you for your interest in our CCW class, if we don’t have a class that fits your schedule we also do private classes and classes for small groups. We will also be offering more classes in the future, to include a live fire class on a range. Thanks again! Benjamin Poller
