3.52 Summary of Enhancements

Knowing When Updates are Available Is Easier Than Ever

Once version 3.52 is installed, an automatic prompt will present when updates are available for your Version/Release.

With this feature, everyone is a winner. Your entire staff will know there is a new update available and can advise management to arrange to have our system updates installed. The Leading Edge Software team can rest assured knowing that your company has the most current information, without having to worry about sending emails which may get blocked by spam blockers or which may be sent to the wrong contact in your company.

A link to the Summary of Enhancements enables all users to view what’s new, or they can check it out at a later date. The message appears upon every login to the program so you can't miss this important message.

If for some reason, you prefer to disable this feature, anyone with Security Level 9 can uncheck the flag in
File / Set Program Preferences/Global Setting.

Warning helps to recognize if database and program version match while applying the update

When quick!Office Commander is updated, various components must be in sync to ensure the update is successfully completed. Updates must be installed on the server first.

If the update is accidentally pulled to a workstation BEFORE the Server, a warning prompts the installer with the following message “Database version on server does not match expected version. Program on your server is not updated to the latest version. Apply update on server before using the program on this workstation. quick!Office Commander will behave unpredictably because program and database MUST match.”

Import

Listings and Sales Associates loaded to Miami board can be now imported to quick!Office Commander.

Reports
